Misha Kordyukov – HEAD COACH

Misha comes to us from the Ukraine, where he graduated from the intitute of Physical Culture in Lvov. He is a highly qualified National level diving coach, both formerly in the Ukraine and now in Canada. Misha is also a qualified lifeguard and trampoline instructor.
During his diving career he was a very successful National level diver. This success had continued in his coaching career with several of his divers claiming top three placements in international competitions. He has also produced many Provincial and National Champions in both countries.
During his tenure as head coach the EDC has become a force to be reckoned with. Medals have been won at both the Senior and Junior Nationals. The club has also produced Junior Champions, including a double gold medalist in 1995, a single gold medalist in 1997, and — the ultimate —a triple gold medalist in 1998. Recently, Etobicoke divers have represented Canada in several notable international meets including the World Grand Prix (Canada Cup 1998), the Junior Worlds (1997) and the Junior CAN-AM-MEX competitions (1996 & 1998). Misha was named as one of Canada’s coaches for the Junior Panamerican Games competition in 2005.
Kateryna Kordyukova

Kateryna brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience from her 17 year diving career as a provincial, national and international diver. She holds several provincial titles, was a medalist on Junior and Senior National levels, and was a finalist at World Grand Prix – Canada Cup. She attended University of Arkansas on a diving scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Education degree in Recreational Therapy. Her coaching career began in late 1990s. She has coached several provincial and national qualifiers.
Anna Dacyshyn

Anna has been involved in the sport of diving for 25 years. She has a Bachelor’s degree inPhysical and Health Education and a Masters degree in Sport Psychology from the Universityof Toronto. In her own diving career, Anna was a Junior and Senior National Team Memberfor many years. Highlights of her career include a silver medal on the 10 meter platform at theWorld Junior Championships, 5 Senior National Championship titles, a Gold Medal at the 1990Commonwealth Games (10 meter), and a 4th place finish at the 1991 FINA World Cup.Anna is an NCCP level 3 certified coach and has been coaching for many years. She hascoached children and adults at all levels of the sport, from Learn-To-Dive to Senior NationalAthletes.
